Grinding Machine(16'' Bed)

The MPA670.15.3 is a highly customized grinding lathe derived from the standard MPA (16" bed) series. To ensure absolute stability for high-precision grinding operations, this machine underwent significant structural modifications. We completely removed the compound rest, feed gearbox, and traditional feed systems, replacing them with an independent "automatic reciprocating feed system" driven by a 2HP motor reducer. The spindle system is locked at an optimal grinding speed of 160 rpm, and a precision counterweight is installed behind the saddle to enhance dynamic balance and shock absorption during high-speed reciprocating operations.

Addressing the precision shaft machining requirements of a Japanese corporate client based in Malaysia, the customer requested a highly specific, custom configuration. Given the exceptionally strict technical requirements of Japanese manufacturing standards, the MYDAY team successfully adjusted the grinding wheel specifications to an expert-level 305 x 25 x 101.6 mm (diameter x width x bore) after the client's technical personnel conducted an on-site inspection in Taiwan. We also integrated a "travel-limit automatic reversal" function. Despite the immense challenges of this high-standard customization, our profound R&D capabilities allowed us to successfully accomplish the mission and achieve a fully automated reciprocating grinding cycle.

Acceptance Process and Technical Data: This machine passed rigorous Japanese standard acceptance procedures, with the client's technical manager personally conducting the final validation on-site. During actual operation tests, the reciprocating feed system provided four precision speed selections (up to 3.06 mm/s), synchronized perfectly with custom-made pulleys and a specialized spindle speed nameplate. Under the client's direct validation, this machine demonstrated outstanding anti-vibration performance and surface finishing precision, perfectly aligning with the strict professional benchmarks of Japanese industrial grinding.
