The MPA670.15.3 is a customized grinding lathe developed from MYDAY’s standard MPA 16" bed series. To meet high-precision shaft grinding requirements, the machine was reconfigured from a conventional lathe structure into a dedicated reciprocating grinding platform, with the feed mechanism, saddle balance, and spindle setup modified specifically for stable grinding operation.
This project was developed for a Japanese corporate client in Malaysia, with the final configuration confirmed after technical inspection in Taiwan. MYDAY integrated an automatic reciprocating feed system, travel-limit automatic reversal, and grinding-specific structural adjustments to support a fully automated grinding cycle.
The machine passed the client’s on-site acceptance process and demonstrated stable vibration control, consistent reciprocating motion, and reliable surface finishing performance for precision industrial grinding applications.
